Since this seems to be a good way to keep our friends and family up to date on our lives, we decided to set up this blog site. Thank you to Patricia & Chris for introducing us to blogging.
Reflecting on 2005, we continue to be in awe at the ways we have seen God's hand at work in our lives. It was such fun to decorate our new home for Christmas. Our Christmas tree is decorated in the corner of our living room. The nativity scene is arranged on the fireplace mantel. What a blessing to have a home of our own at last!
Although two weeks of Christmas holidays seems very short to me (Andrea), it is truly a blessing and joy to be teaching at Pacific Academy. I value the quirks and quarks of each student, and am collecting mispronunciations along the way.
Some of the humourous ESL words/phrases of the fall were:
"Couples 'incite' people to their weddings."
"I had 'pagan and eggs' for breakfast."
"There was an 'obeytion' after the hockey game."
Happy New Year!

Your blog is so much fun to read through! - Pat & Chris
Super idea, especially since you see so much humor/humour in every day events! LOL
If you are wondering what "tearlach" means...that's Chuck's name in Gaelic. ("61" is the year he was born) Our blog has photos to view but is written in gaelic for all of Chuck's overseas friends who are learning the language.
